Hunt Easter Eggs at the Newquay Blue Reef Aquarium
Who needs an Easter Bunny when you’ve got huge sharks, beautiful turtles and fascinating crocodiles? The brilliant Blue Reef Aquarium is your venue if you have little children, the perfect place for an Easter Egg hunt with a difference between 1st and 17th April.
The Quest for the Golden Egg – Newquay Pirate’s Quest
There’s a golden egg hidden somewhere… but who will find it? Pirate’s Quest tells the amazing history of Cornwall’s vivid pirate past, and the Pirate Hunters are searching for eggs between 1st and 21st April.
The magical Newquay Easter Egg Hunt
1st to 17th April sees the famous Newquay Ester Egg Hunt taking place, great fun for all the family. All you do is pick up a special clue sheet from the Visit Newquay Tourist Information Centre on Marcus Hill, then follow the clues around town, collecting stickers along the way. When you get back you hand in your completed form to claim a delicious Easter treat.
Easter Treats at Newquay Library
Our lively library is the source of all sorts of fun for the kids throughout Easter with loads of free activities to enjoy including a special Easter egg hunt and craft-led enjoyment in the shape of creative Easter card making. Pop along from 6th to 15th April.
Children’s Easter Party at the Royal British Legion
Easter family fun is yours for the taking at the town’s own Royal British Legion on Trevena Terrace, with a fabulous Children’s Easter Party held on Saturday 8th April from 10:30am – 1pm. There’s a bar for grown-ups plus a tombola, music, book and cake stalls, a raffle and prize bingo at noon, all for just £1 entry, in aid of the Poppy Appeal. If your child is younger than two, they get in for free.
Easter Fun at Lappa Valley Steam Railway
Easter activities at the ever-popular Lappa Valley attraction in St Newlyn East include special steam railway rides with the Easter Bunny, duck racing, a quiz trail with prizes and plenty more, all included in the usual admission price. The fun takes place between 14th and 17th April.
Easter Treats at Dairyland Farmworld
Dairyland Farmworld is holding all sorts of fun activities between 14th and 17th April, including a creative craft workshop, bunny basket making and an Easter Egg Hunt, all taking place between 14th and 17th April.
Easter Entertainment at Newquay Zoo
Newquay Zoo is holding an Eggstreme Easter Egg trail between 14th and 17th April, starring Pickle the penguin. A chocolate treat is in with the package and your kids will also be entered into a thank you draw to win a Penguin Pack containing a big stuffed penguin toy, a penguin adoption and the chance to name a newly-hatched baby penguin later in the year. The fun takes place from 14th to 17th April.
The ThunderCat Racing Championships
Beautiful Fistral Beach comes alive on 22nd and 23rd April thanks to the awesome ThunderCat racing competition, where 20 or so boats fight for supremacy over 12 racing heats, ending in a dramatic nine lap final showdown.
The Newquay Art 8 Festival
Come to experience our very own Arts and Culture Festival, an annual event that brings visitors from all over Britain and beyond to enjoy the events, exhibits and workshops. It takes place between 27th April and 1st May.
